Phase 1 – Major Yorks Road – From 5 April for approximately two weeks. We’ll be working on Major Yorks Road where it joins Hungershall Park and Fir Tree Road. For everyone’s safety we’ll need to close all three roads around our work site. Signed diversion routes will be in place, and we’ll maintain access where it is safe to do so. However, it is likely that we may need to restrict vehicle access to Fir Tree Road while our excavations are open.
Phase 2 – A264 Langton Road - From 22 April for approximately eleven weeks. We’ll be working from the junction with Neville Park to the junction with Bishops Down and Major Yorks Road. For everyone’s safety we’ll be using temporary traffic lights around our works area.

We understand roadworks can be frustrating and we’re sorry for any disruption caused. However, the new plastic pipe has a lifespan of 80 years. This means that once our work is done, Tunbridge Wells residents and businesses will be able to enjoy the benefits of a safe and reliable supply of gas for many years to come.
